The six-day preparatory camp for Indian cricket probabales got off to a wet start on Monday with sharp showers in Bangalore forcing them indoors.
Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh and Mohammed Kaif, who missed the conditioning camp last month due to their county engagements, joined the probables at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, swelling their number to 39.
The others joining the camp were Aakash Chopra, Ramesh Powar and Sairaj Bahutule.
But no sooner had the probables come to the stadium after a work-out at the gym, that showers welcomed them, forcing them to return indoors.
Kapil Dev, who was to pass on valuable tips to fast bowlers at the camp during the first two days, could not interact much on Monday due to the rain-enforced interruption.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has also roped in nine medium-pacers to assist the probables at the nets.
Media personality Prannoy Roy was scheduled to deliver a lecture to the probables at a five-star hotel later the same evening.
The team management has also lined up former world billiards champion Geet Sethi and former All England Badminton champion Prakash Padukone to deliver lectures during the course of the camp which concludes on Saturday.
Yoga guru B K S Iyengar is scheduled to interact with the probables on Wednesday.
