Sparkling centuries by overnight batsmen Venugopala Rao and I Srinivasa Rao, aided by a quickfire 82 by R V Ch Prasad enabled Andhra to amass 458 for 7 declared in the first innings against Kerala on the second day of the Ranji Trophy Elite Group 'A' match at Vijaywada on Monday.
Resuming at overnight score of 205 for 4, Venugopal Rao compiled 115 studded with 12 hits to the fence and I Srinivasa Rao cracked 116 with an identical number of fours to add 243 runs for the fourth wicket.
Stylish middle order batsman R V Ch Prasad hit a breezy 82 before skipper M S K Prasad declared the innings at 458 for 7.
Sunil Oasis claimed 4 for 61 while speedster Sony accounted for 3 wickets for 75 runs for Kerala.
In reply Kerala were 7 for loss of opener C M Deepak's wicket when stumps were drawn.
