South Africa withdrew earlier this week from a triangular series in Sharjah following the outbreak of war in Iraq.
The South Africans had been scheduled to play in the competition with Pakistan and Sri Lanka from April 1-10. Officials are reportedly trying to shift the tournament to Colombo now.
India were beaten by Australia in the final of the World Cup on Sunday. Hosts South Africa and Bangladesh were knocked out in the group stage.
