Revealing this at a press conference in New Delhi, BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya also announced a bonus for Wright, Leipus, and former physical trainer Adrian Le Roux, since they did not get a share of the World Cup runners-up prize money.
The bonus, which is equivalent to three months' salary, will make Wright richer by Rs 13 lakh and Leipus and Le Roux by Rs 7-10 lakh.
The new physical trainer, Gregory Allen King, who made the cut from among eight candidates (three Australians, four South Africans, and one Indian) has also been offered the contract up to the ICC Champions Trophy.
These decisions were taken on the first day itself of the two-day working committee meeting of the BCCI.
