Former India captain Kapil Dev was named Wisden Indian Cricketer of the Century on Tuesday. The Haryanvi, who led India to the World Cup triumph in 1983 before ending his Test career with 5,248 runs and 434 Test wickets, upstaged 15 other famous names, including batting greats Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar for the award.
