Dravid 5,000-up in Tests

When he reached 30 in India's first innings in the third Test against England, Rahul Dravid completed 5,000 runs in Test cricket.

The Karnataka batsman, in the process, became only the seventh Indian to reach the coveted mark. The others in the elite list are Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Dilip Vengsarkar, Mohammad Azharuddin, G R Vishwanath and Kapil Dev.

Later, he went on to reach his 12th century in India's first innings total of 223/2 in the 83rd over. He also became the second Indian after Sourav Ganguly to score back-to-back centuries in England.
