"Brett Lee's obvious advantage is his speed through the air, which can to a considerable extent negate the slowness of our Indian pitches. But even more importantly, he gets the ball to swing, and also to reverse swing to a considerable extent as the ball gets older. In Indian conditions, reverse swing is always a factor, so a bowler like Lee who can do that, at top speed, is obviously going to be a danger. He is on his first tour -- in fact, he hasn't much experience of touring, so it will be interesting to see how he copes with the off-field factors, which do have an impact on your performance in the middle".
