The Paris Air Show has been the world's leading aviation and space event for over 100 years.
With 2,110 exhibitors, 340,000 trade and general visitors, 200 international delegations and 3,000 journalists, the Paris Air Show remains one of aviation industry's most significant events.
The 49th Paris Air Show at the Le Bourget exhibition centre will be open till 26 June 2011. The industry's biggest players are in Paris to showcase the latest technological innovations.

The damaged right-hand wing-tip of the Airbus A380, the world's largest jetliner with a wingspan of almost 80 metres, is seen on the tarmac during the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget airport. The right-hand wing-tip of the plane scraped a building on Sunday and was withdrawn from the air show's traditional flying displays.
