With employees across India rushing to complete their income-tax formalities, let's take a look at countries that have some of the highest income-tax rates. While Scandinavian nations are famous for their high rates, there are some countries, such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, that don't levy any income tax at all.

Although many Indians feel they pay high taxes, compared to some countries its tax rate is not that high. There are some nations that levy more than 50 per cent income tax. Naturally, the biggest revenue generator for the government is income tax.
