Some world-class buildings are coming up all over India that are expected to change the country’s skyline. These swanky buildings offer world-class amenities to the occupants ranging from five-star spa to concierge and butler services.
These are also some of the tallest upcoming buildings. Some of them are under-construction while some exist only on papers as of now.
India Tower
City: Mumbai
Planned Height: 2,362 ft
Floors: 125
Status: On-hold
DB Realty was constructing the tower that would be the tallest building in India and also among the tallest in the world.
Work had begun on the project but in 2011 the municipal corporation of Mumbai issued a stop notice and demanded a premium of Rs 200 crore from the developer. Since then, the future of the project is uncertain.

Lanco Hills Signature Tower

Status: Project approved
The tower is constructed by the company called as Lanco Hills. The company is constructing a mixed-used development project by the same name - Lanco hills - and the Signature Tower will be part of it.
According to the company’s website Lanco Hills is one of the world’s largest single-phase development projects and would cost $1.5 billion.

World One

The project is constructed by Lodha Group. The project, designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and Leslie E. Robertson Associates, the project has won many awards globally.
One of the landmark features of this iconic development with be an exclusive observatory called '1000' – located at a height of 1000 feet above the city.
According to the company’s press release, this open - to - air observatory will allow residents to enjoy fabulous views of the city and the Arabian Sea - it is estimated that a person can see as far away as 60 kms from the building from this height.

GIFT Diamond Tower

The Imperial 3

After constructing the twin Imperial Tower, SD Corporation is going for the third.
Construction will start from 2014 and the towers will inaugurated in 2017. Imperial Tower 3, designed by the Chicago based architect firm Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture.
SD Corporation is a confluence of resources, reputation and expertise of two real estate developers, Shapoorji Pallonji Group and Dilip Thacker Group.
