Success story of the amazing Maruti Swift

Small car wizard, Maruti Suzuki's supremacy goes back to the year 1983 when the carmaker started its innings in India.

The iconic Maruti 800 was the solo performer of Maruti which reigned Indian roads for close to three decades before it retired.

In the mid 90s, other car companies from across the world realised the potential of India and started heading towards the then not-so-popular auto market.

With other foreign brands coming to India, Maruti Suzuki India had to bring in more cars in the arena to face competitors.
