Whirlpool year net at Rs 8.65 cr

Whirlpool of India Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 86.50 million for the year ended December 31, 2002 as compared to a net profit of Rs 91.20 million for the year ended December 31, 2001. Total income has increased from Rs 10,055.30 million in FY-01 to Rs 11,187.40 million in FY-02.
