A SpiceJet aircraftTrouble for SpiceJet is far from getting over.

Though the airline got an additional time to clear airport charges, it was reportedly denied fuel across major airports like Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad, leading to several flight cancellations and delays, said a Financial Express report.

“All flights have been tentatively rescheduled to 11 AM in the hope that the fuel situation will be restored. Nearly all morning flights stand delayed or canceled,” FE quoted an airline official as saying.

Spicejet has total liabilities of over Rs 2,000 crore (Rs 20 billion) to vendors, tax authorities and service providers.

Out of this, it needs to clear dues of Rs 1,400 crore (Rs 14 billion) immediately to continue operations.

On Monday morning, SpiceJet management also sent an email to all pilots asking them to be prepared for any eventuality, the newspaper report said.
