To achieve increased productivity to meet its target of doubling revenues in the next three years, Shaw Wallace on Thursday upwardly revised the pay package of its sales executives for the second year in running, a 100 per cent hike being envisaged for top performers.

As per the revamp, the blueprint of which has been designed by the Mercer Consulting, the performance bonus for the year 2003-04 is almost three times that of previous year, a company statement said.

"'People-care' is at the top of the mind of the current management. We would like to continue with the policy of creating value for the company through creating value for all those who have a stake in the company," Shaw Wallace executive director Komal C Wazir said.

The company said performance contracts and clearer roadmaps have been drawn up for executives to meet the vision 3x3 objectives of double revenues and triple profits in three years.

In the last fiscal, Shaw Wallace had 20 per cent growth in revenues and a profit before tax that was 2.5 times higher than the previous year.
