Satyam Q2 net up 32%

Satyam Computer Services has reported a 32.4% in consolidated net profit at Rs 176.86 crore (Rs 1.77 billion) for the quarter ended September 30, 2004 as compared to Rs 133.54 crore (Rs 1.33 billion) for the quarter ended September 30, 2003,

as per Indian GAAP.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income has increased from Rs 635.11 crore (Rs 6.35 billion) in the SQ-03 to Rs 886.06 crore (Rs 8.86 billion) in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.
