In a bid to push its current revenue of 20 per cent from the small and medium business segment in India, Germany-based enterprise software major SAP on Monday announced the launch of mySAP all-in-one solutions for micro-verticals.

"mySAP all-in-one solutions are designed to meet the needs of small and mid-size businesses with industry-specific information technology requirements and will be 30 per cent less costly than the standard SAP solutions," Srinivas Rao, head, SMB business unit, SAP India, said in New Delhi.

Supported by a comprehensive network of SAP channel partners, the solutions are pre-packaged and will save upto 40 per cent in time in implementation running to 6-8 weeks against 3-6 months on implementation period for an enterprise SAP suite, he said.

Rao declined to comment on the expected revenue increase from the SMB segment.

mySAP all-in-one will focus on micro-verticals like pharmaceutical, chemical, automotives, engineering and construction and media, among others. SAP and its partners together will address all areas of hardware, software, implementation and support services.

In terms of segments, the solution will target companies with less than Rs 350 crore (Rs 3.50 billion) turnover annually.

In India, SAP has about 100 employees and has a market-share of 60 per cent in ERP; about 50 per cent of its total customers of about 400 are in the SMB segment.
