i-flex FY04 net up 5% at Rs 179 crore

Information technology major i-flex Solutions has posted a 4.62 per cent increase in net income at Rs 178.8 crore (Rs 1,788 million) for the financial year ended March 31, 2004, compared to Rs 170.9 crore (Rs 1,709 million) in the last fiscal.
 
The company's board has recommended a 70 per cent dividend for the year, i-flex Solutions said in a release on Wednesday.
 
The company's total revenues rose to Rs 788.1 crore (Rs 7,881 million) during the year under review, from Rs 614.1 crore (Rs 6,141 million) a year ago, it said.

The company's net income for the quarter ended March 31 stood at Rs 54.7 crore (Rs 547 million), recording a 43 per cent growth from Rs 38.3 crore (Rs 383 million) for the same quarter last fiscal,

The revenues for the quarter rose to Rs 209.3 crore (Rs 2,093 million) from Rs 166.5 crore (Rs 1,665 million).

The company added 30 new customers during the quarter, including 17 customers through the acquisition of SuperSolutions Corporation, increasing its total customer count to 480, an increase from 450 customers in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
