German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz on Tuesday launched AMG GT S in India in the performance car segment priced at Rs 2.4 crore or Rs 24 million (ex-showroom Delhi).
The car, which comes with a 4-litre bi-turbo engine, is the company's 14th new product introduction of the year in the country.
The company had announced its plan to launch 15 new products in 2015 in India.
"The launch of the AMG GT S is the finest example of our top-of-pyramid approach for the Indian market as we are presenting the most acclaimed product from our global portfolio," Mercedes-Benz India managing director and chief executive officer Roland Folger told reporters in New Delhi.
With the AMG GT S, the company has yet ‘another winning product’ for India, he claimed.

Mercedes-Benz currently sells ten AMG products in the country.
