Pennar Profiles Ltd has informed BSE that it has taken a decision to reduce the manpower strength and submitted a proposal to the government of Andhra Pradesh seeking permission to retrench 50 workmen.
The company has also undertaken several other cost reduction measures simultaneously.
Meanwhile, IFCI, the operating agency, is working out a rehabilitation plan for the company.
