3i Infotech Ltd on Tuesday said it has acquired a US-based specialty IT solutions company, Innovative Business Solutions Inc, for an aggregate consideration of $3.6 million.
The company has acquired the US firm, which specialises in niche consulting services in key growth segments including enterprise application integration, business intelligence and IT security, it said.
"We believe the acquisition brings in lot of value to our organisation by augmenting our geographic reach and customer base in the US, and niche consulting skills," V Srinivasan, managing director and CEO, 3i Infotech, said.
