3 new pre-paid cards from Idea

Cellular operator Idea has announced three new tariff packages for pre-paid customers including a card worth Rs 349 mainly for those who would be using their phones for incoming calls.

This card offers a talk time of just Rs 20 but will be valid for three months. The call charges are high at Rs 2.99 a minute.

The company's other pre-paid I-card, is aimed at students. It offers a tariff of Rs 1.99 per minute to any three chosen STD numbers apart from Rs 0.75 per minute for any two local Idea numbers and Rs 0.99 paise for calls within the network, Idea's Delhi and NCR circle head Rajendra Chourasia said.

The easitalk card is priced at Rs 999 with a talk time of Rs 400, with a validity of five months.
