ICICI Bank on Saturday reported a 42 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 910.08 crore (Rs 9.10 billion) for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, compared with Rs 640.08 crore (Rs 6.40 billion) in Q3 FY06.
According to a release issued to the BSE on Saturday, the total income increased to 59 per cent Rs 7,805.24 crore (Rs 78.05 billion) from Rs 4,891.65 crore (Rs 48.91 billion) for the quarter ended December 31, 2005.
