HCL Tech Jan-Mar profit down on year

HCL Technologies Ltd, India's fifth largest software services exporter, reported on Monday its quarterly profit fell from a year earlier.

HCL, which counts Cisco Systems amongst its top clients, said its net consolidated income for the third quarter to the end of March slid to Rs 894.2 million from Rs 1.01 billion in the year-ago quarter.
