The Bombay Stock Exchange would suspend trading in 50 stocks including BPL Ltd and Kinetic Trust Ltd from February 9, for non-payment of annual listing fees for 2004-05.

The entities have not paid the listing fees despite issue of reminders and show-cause notice, BSE on Monday said in a notice to broking members.

However, if any company makes the payment prior to the date of suspension, the same would be considered as complied and suspension notice against such company would be withdrawn, it added.

In another notice, the exchange would move seven scrips including that of Centrum Finance, Magnum Ltd and Venus Sugar Ltd to "T" group, where transaction would be settled on trade-to-trade basis from January 31, 2005.

This preventive surveillance measure was being taken to ensure market safety and safeguard the interest of the investors, it added.
