Honda Siel Cars India said on Monday it would hike the prices of all its products, except luxury sedan Accord, by 2-3 per cent with effect from April 1, on account of rising input costs. "Commodity prices are rising very strongly in recent months.
"We will raise the prices of all our cars by 2-3 per cent from next month to minimise the impact of strengthening raw material rates," a Honda Siel Cars India spokesperson told PTI.
The company,
however, will not increase the price of its luxury sedan Accord, the official said.
The models of the company include flagship sedan City, hatchback Jazz, premium sedan Civic and sports utility vehicle CR-V.
The company on Monday announced to postpone the preview of its forthcoming small car 'Brio' in India scheduled for March 17 due to the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
