Pressure map: India vs Bermuda

Chasing 414 is very, very difficult even for teams like South Africa and Australia (who have been there). For Bermuda to chase 414 against India was impossible.

As Bermuda began their chase, the pressure index (PI) was a staggering 195.

With wickets falling regularly, the PI hardly ever dropped below 185-190.

India should have finished it off quickly after Bermuda were at 110/8. By allowing Bermuda's Hemp and Leverock to hit nearly 50 more runs, India allowed their net run rate (NRR) to drop to 2.51 when it could have been as high as 3.

In the most favourable scenario for India to enter the Super Eight, Sri Lanka must defeat Bangladesh, India must defeat Sri Lanka and India's NRR must be so much higher than Bangladesh's NRR that even a big Bangladesh win over Bermuda shouldn't push Bangladesh's NRR above India's.
