With just two months to go for the Commonwealth Games, India's most ambitious sporting event remains mired in controversy -- and it is not all about how the crores of rupees have been spent or gone missing.
As D-Day approaches, the big questions on the minds of security experts across the country are: Is the Games secure enough? Does the CWG meet the required security standards?
The Delhi police, who will play an important role in providing security for the Games, have so far not been able to conduct a survey of the venues as there is no clear space to do so since the structures are not ready.
What has also gone unnoticed is that at least 43 workers have died during the course of the stadium's construction, of whom 24 remain unclaimed.
