Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has announced cash award of Rs three lakh each for Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat for winning bronze medals in the ongoing Women's World Wrestling Championship at Edmonton, Canada.

Both the wrestlers are from Haryana.
Geeta won the second medal for the country today in the Women's World Wrestling Championship by securing the bronze in the 55 kg freestyle category.
She got the better of Ukraine's Nataliya Synyshyn 3:0 in the final of Repechage 1 on Friday.
Babita clinched the bronze in 51 Kg category after defeating Zamira Rakhmanova from Russia in the repechage round, although she lost to Jessica Anne Marrie Macdonald Bondy from Canada in the semi-final.
Congratulating the two women wrestlers for their feats, Hooda said their achievement in the World Championship has made the whole state and the country proud.
