Asian bronze medallist Ankus (38kg) has bagged the silver medal in the ongoing Cadet World Wrestling Championship in Sarajevo, Bosnia.
"It always feel good when we win medals for our country but my target was to get the gold medal. So, I am a little disappointed but that's the part of life. I have to work harder to live up the expectations of the people for all future tournaments," Ankus said.
Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, "I would like to congratulate Ankus for her achievement in the Cadet World Wrestling Championship. Our wrestlers have worked really hard and now their hard work is paying off and I would like to congratulate our support staff and coaches without whom this medal would not have been possible."
