Leander Paes is on a roll at the Wimbledon Championships -- both, on and off the court.
First, he combined with mixed-doubles partner Martina Hingis to reach the Championship final after a convincing 6-3, 6-4 win over top seed Americans Mike Bryan and Bethanie Mattek-Sands on Friday.
And after that key victory, the Indian tennis legend's popularity was stamped when former England football captain David Beckham payed him a quick visit.
"A real treat to meet David Beckham Wimbledon ...A thorough Gentleman," Paes wrote on his Facebook wall with a picture of the duo.
Here's hoping that some inspiring words were exchanged between the two sporting giants, as Leander and Hingis chase the Wimbledon mixed-doubles title on Sunday.
