Tyson Fury will be stripped of his world heavyweight titles, UK's leading boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has said while casting doubts over his return to the ring.
According to Hearn, boxing governing bodies the WBA and WBO are entitled to take away Fury's belts because he postponed his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko for the second time citing mental health reasons.
"I don't believe he will fight again," the Matchroom boxing chief was quoted as saying by the Mirror.
"I believe Tyson Fury will be stripped of all his titles."
Twenty-eight-year-old Fury, who defeated Klitschko last November to bag the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO titles, had earlier rescheduled the rematch from the original July date to October 29.
Within two weeks of his victory, he was stripped of the IBF world heavyweight championship belt after he declined to face mandatory title challenger Vyacheslav Glazkov.
Hearn also took potshots at Fury's team for not looking after the world heavyweight champion properly.
