Infantino, who will arrive in Goa on September 27 for the AFC Extraordinary Congress, is expected to return to the FIFA headquarters in Switzerland the same day, an AIFF official said.
The five candidates who will contest the election at the AFC Extraordinary Congress include Zhang Jian (China PR), Ali Kafashian Naeni (Islamic Republic of Iran), Mong Gyu Chung (Korea Republic), Saudi A Aziz Al-Mohannadi (Qatar) and Zainudin Nordin (Singapore).
There will be one seat for a female council member and the race will be among Moya Dodd (Australia), Mahfuza Ahkter (Bangladesh) and Han UN Gyong (DPR Korea).
As part of its reform measures, FIFA said its 24-member executive committee will be disbanded and replaced by the 37-seat council.
During the day, the FIFA chief will interact with the delegates and release the logo for the 2017 Under-17 World Cup besides the new logo of the AIFF.
