A golfer in Texas blasted a ball 146 yards with the extra long club, smashing the Guinness world record.
Michael Furrh smashed the previous Guinness World Record for longest usable golf club by almost a foot at The Golf Club at Castle Hills in Lewisville.
Furrh used a 14-foot-2.5 inch driver to hit the ball 146 yards in the air to break the world record, the New York Daily News reported.
Karsten Maas, a pro in Denmark, previously held the record after driving a ball 134.5 yards with a 13-foot-5 inch club in 2009.
Furrh also has hit a drive, while standing on a ladder, off a 6-foot tee.
