Olympic medallists PV Sindhu and MC Mary Kom -- will be the star attractions among the Indians on Day 6 of the Tokyo Games on Thursday.
World No 7 Sindhu will look inch closer to the medal round when she takes on Denmark's world number 12 Mia Blichfeldt in the women's singles round of 16 match at 6.15am IST.
Later in the day, boxing legend Mary Kom will be up against Colombia's Ingrit Valencia in the 51kg round of 16 bout at 3.36pm IST.
Shooter Manu Bhaker will be aiming to bounce back when she along with compatriot Rahi Sarnobat compete in the women's 25m pistol event, with the qualification starting at 5.30am IST.
The men's hockey team will face a tough clash against Argentina in their pool match at 6am IST, while golfers Anirban Lahiri and Udayan Mane will also tee off the first time in Tokyo.
