India's big medal hope, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra begins his campaign at the Olympics on Wednesday. The Asian Games gold medallist will be the first Indian to start proceedings -- the Men's Javelin Throw qualification starting at 05:35 IST.
Shivpal Singh, the other javelin thrower will be in action at 07:05 IST.
Women's golfers Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar will tee off at 05.55 IST and 7.39 IST.
The history-creating women's hockey team will vie for a place in the final with tough opponents Argentina. The match starts at 15.30 IST.
