Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, almost every sporting tournament around the world has been postponed.
Global sporting brand Nike’s latest ad titled 'You Can't Stop Us', the new advertisement addresses the issues of race, equality and the COVID-19 pandemic. The 1 minute 30 seconds advertisement has brought along several good moments of the sporting world together to highlight what dreams are made up of.
The new advertisement comes with amazing editing that will leave you completely astonished.
The ad put together by Wieden + Kennedy team with the voiceover delivered by United States World Cup icon Megan Rapinoe. It features stars such as Rapinoe, LeBron James, Naomi Osaka, Eliud Kipchoge, Caster Semenya, Cristiano Ronaldo, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Serena Williams, Colin Kaepernick and Kylian Mbappé.
Sharing the advertisement on their official Twitter handle, Nike wrote, “Nothing can stop what we can do together. You can’t stop playing sports. Because #YouCantStopUs.”
From basketball to cricket, tennis to athletics, there is no part of sports that has been left untouched by the team that created Nike's advertisement. One of the montages in the ad also features the Indian women’s cricket team.
To create it, the team researched 4,000 sports action sequences and the result is definitely jaw-dropping. Social media applauded the team for their excellent efforts.
