Tokyo Olympics Gold medallist Neeraj Chopra has urged his followers to support Indian Paralympians at the ongoing Tokyo Paralympic Games.
In a short video, Neeraj mentioned the medals won by debutants shooter Avani Lekhara, and javelin thrower Sumit Antil as well as veteran Devendra Jhajharia to encourage his followers on social media to support the Paralympians.
'We've seen some incredible medal-winning performances by Indian athletes over the past few days in the #Paralympics. I hope we give all our Paralympians as much love and support as possible over the next few days!' Neeraj tweeted alongside a video.
By winning the javelin competition at the Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj Chopra became the first Indian to win a Gold medal in track and field events, ending India's 125 year wait for an athletics medal.
