Suranjoy Singh, the gold medal winner of the prestigious President Cup, streamrolled Kalpataru Mandal on the third day of the Fourth Super Cup Inter zonal Boxing Championship on Friday.
Suranjoy, who is representing Services in the tournament, blanked his Northeast Zone green opponent 7-0 in the flyweight (51 kg) bout at the Andheri Sports Complex.
Upcoming pugilist Nanao Singh, also representing Services, registered a crushing victory over South Zone rival Sanesh in the Light Flyweight (48 kg) division.
Nanao overwhelmed his opponent 12-3.
In an other match, Maharashtra's feather weight boxer Narendra More shocked current national champion Kuldeep Singh.
Narender took a three point lead in the first round and did well to maintain it till the end as he won the bout 9-4.
