Indian tennis ace Somdev Devvarman maintained his fine run of form, scoring a stunning upset over world No 34 Milos Raonic of Canada to enter the third round of the men's singles in the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami on Friday.
The 26-year-old, who attained a career-high ranking of 73 earlier this week, won 7-6(5), 7-5.
Somdev will next meet Spain's David Ferrer, who beat Igor Kunitsyn of Russia 6-2, 6-1 in another second round match.
However, Indian fortunes in the tournament took a beating when Sania Mirza was sent packing by No 24 seed Russia's Maria Kirilenko after losing 7-5, 3-6, 0-6 in the second round.
