In a fun little candid session, Tokyo Olympics medallists, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, boxer Lovlina Borgohain and hockey captain Manpreet Singh, spoke of their fears, their comfort food and the people they called after their medal victories.
"A Candid Rapid Fire Round with Olympic Medalists @Neeraj_chopra1 @LovlinaBorgohai @manpreetpawar07 Check this out," Sports Minister Anurag Thakur tweeted.
In the video posted on Thakur’s Twitter handle on Friday, Manpreet revealed butter chicken to be his favourite, while Lovlina said pork was her go to comfort food.
India’s boy with the golden arm, javelin thrower Neeraj said fruits are his comfort food.
The Indian men's hockey team ended a 41-year medal drought by clinching the bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics and the skipper said he called his mother right after the win to inform her.
While Lovlina also called home after she won a medal, Olympic gold medallist Neeraj called former Indian javelin thrower Jai Choudhary.
India returned from the Tokyo Olympics with their best-ever haul of 7 medals -- one gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze.
