Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza stormed into the quarter-finals in the US $10,000 Regione House ITF clay tournament, shocking second seed Salome Davidze of Georgia 6-4, 6-0 in Compobasso, Italy, on Thursday.
She will play the winner of the match between Elena Vianello and fifth seed Leticia Sobral on Friday.
Sania entered the pre-quarter-finals beating Alexia Virgilli of Itlay 6-4, 6-0.
