The ranking of India's injured singles stars has dipped with Sania Mirza slipping to 88 from 81 and Somdev Devvarman sliding to 70, a loss of five places, in the latest WTA and ATP ranking charts.
Sania is out of action since US Open where she suffered a tear in her left knee and Somdev recently strained his right shoulder during India's Davis Cup campaign.
Sania, though maintained her 10th rank in the doubles chart and her fourth position in the doubles Race to year-end championship was also intact, along with Elena Vesnina.
In the ATP doubles chart, there was no change in the ranking of Mahesh Bhupathi (6), Leander Paes (8) and Rohan Bopanna (14).
The Indian Express of Paes and Bhupathi was placed fourth in the team rankings while the Indo-Pak Express of Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi was at number seven.
