Saina Nehwal is enjoying a holidays in the Maldives.
The Olympic bronze medallist took to Instagram to document her stay at the Taj Exotica Resort and Spa where she is staying with husband Parupalli Kashyap.
Saina and Kashyap have taken a break from badminton till the end of the year, having pulled of the Denmark Open, which marked the return of international badminton.
Kashyap, who also doubles up as her coach on tour, said they decided to skip the tournament in Denmark in view of the COVID-19 situation.
'I think it is not worth the risk to go all that way for one tournament. It's just better to start the season afresh in January,' Kashyap said.
Fellow badminton star Sai Praneeth and wife Swetha are holidaying in the Maldives, along with Saina and Kashyap.
