World No 2 wrestler Bajrang Punia is all set to tie the knot with Sangeeta Phogat.
26-year-old Bajrang, who has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, is based at the national camp at the SAI centre in Sonepat, but secured leave for the wedding.
His bride-to-be shared glimpses from her pre-wedding ceremonies on Instagram. The youngest Phogat sister is also a wrestler.
Her mehendi ceremony was attended by close family members; Sangeeta wore floral jewellery and an olive green lehenga.
During her haldi ceremony, Sangeeta twinned with elder sisters Geeta and Babita Phogat of Dangal fame.
Babita, who wed Vivek on December 1, 2019, announced that the couple are expecting their first child.
Babita's baby bump is already showing.
Geeta Phogat, who won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2010, matched her yellow kurta with a pink dupatta for the ceremony.
Sangeeta also posted a picture with nephew Arjun, Geeta Phogat and Pawan Kumar Saroha's son.
The pre-wedding ceremonies began with the Baan Rasm three days ago.
