PIX: After cricket and football, hockey gets Sakshi Dhoni's attention

Whether it is the Indian Premier League or international cricket, Sakshi Dhoni is omnipresent at every match that features India’s ODI skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. She seems to relish travelling around the world with her husband.

But when her husband is away and helping India thrash Australia in their own backyard, the first lady of cricket is busy supporting her husband’s venture.

Sakshi was seen cheering her husband’s team Ranchi Rays during a Hockey India League match in Ranchi.

So far the Ranchi-based side have secured 21 points from five matches.

Last season, Ranchi Rays produced an inspired performance and twice came back from a goal down to beat Jaypee Punjab Warriors and emerge champions of the third Hockey India League.

Besides cricket, Dhoni already has invested in two other sports -- Mahi Racing and co-owner of Indian Super League side Chennayin FC.

Just like Dhoni, Sakshi is also a big football fan. She is always seen cheering for Spanish giants Real Madrid on social media.

So when Dhoni invested in Chennaiyin FC, Indian Super League football club based in Chennai, his wife tried to learn more about the sport.

And these days, hockey has Sakshi’s undivided attention.
