Pawar notched up an easy 26-24, 21-15 win over local player Flemming Quach in the first round and then prevailed over Domke 21-7, 21-17 in the second round of the qualification tournament.
K Srikanth too had reached the second round with a 21-13, 21-8 victory over Christian Lind Thomsen but he failed to get past Japan's Kento Momota in the second round of the qualifiers.
It was curtains for Sourabh Verma and H S Prannoy as well.
Earlier in the day, Sourabh Verma lost to Estonia's Raul Must 13-21, 21-6, 18-21, while H S Prannoy suffered a 13-21, 8-21 loss to Momota in another qualifier.
