Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi had contrasting results in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters doubles on Wednesday.
While the former, in partnership with Australian Paul Hanley, went down 4-6 6-3 10-3 to the second seeded Israeli duo of Andy Ram and Jonathan Erlich, Bhupathi, seeded fourth along with his Bahamas partner Mark Knowles, scored a comfortable 6-4 6-3 win over the Brazilian pair of Andre Sa and M Melo.
