Leander Paes and David Rikl lost in the doubles semi-finals of the ATP Tennis Masters in Hamburg, Germany.
The unseeded Indo-Czech pair went down 6-7 (4/7), 3-6 to top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan of the U.S. on Saturday in the last major clay court event ahead of the French Open.
Paes and Rikl, however, defended their 225 ATP points they had earned by reaching the Hamburg semi-finals last year.
The French Open begins in Paris on May 24.
