Tollygunge Agragami, Kolkata, and State Bank of Travancore were involved in a goalless draw in a sixth round match in the ninth National Football League at the Corporation stadium in Kozikhode on Sunday.
The bankmen were more forceful right through but some stout-hearted defending by the Kolkata side prevented them from scoring.
Watched by a near-capacity crowd of around 30,000, the home team forced as many as four corners but a gallant display by Tollygunge custodian Arindam Ghosh, who was later named man of the match, denied them success.
