JCT whip Mohd. Sporting

JCT, Phagwara, beat Mohammedan Sporting 3-0 in a 19th round match in the National Football League, at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana, on Monday night.

Baldeep put JCT ahead after just three minutes. But the home side could not increase the lead and had to cross over at the breather with a solitary goal advantage.

Changing ends, Harvinder Singh scored two more goals for JCT, in the 47th and 87th minutes.

With today's victory, JCT swelled its points tally to 30.

Sporting have 18 points and are lying second from the bottom.

In the first leg match on January 19, Sporting had beaten JCT 3-1.
